No. 359 - The Botanical Bureaucracy

Ah, the modern open-plan habitat, where desks stand like isolated islands in a sea of distractions. This particular setup appears to have been curated by an overworked botanist-slash-accountant with a deep-seated fear of running out of staplers. The plant is a nice touch, certainly a breath of fresh (oxygenated) air amidst the analog chaos. However, the bag casually slung over the side carries the 'just robbed a messy office supply store' aesthetic a little too well. And let's not overlook the classic 'haunted coat draped over the chair' look, which certainly adds to the ambiance. All it's missing is a coffee cup shrine and a few more sticky notes to really pull together the ‘deadline looms over me’ vibe.
