No. 687 - The Lumber Baron's Lament

Ah, the Natural Wood Nomad - a desk so clean and uncluttered it's like no human has ever actually worked there. With the amount of empty space, I guess 'minimalism' is just another word for 'I don’t really do much of anything'. Even the plant looks like it's thinking, 'Put me outside, at least I can talk to the birds!' And let's not overlook the fact that the most personality this desk has is the off-brand office chair that's seen more spins than actual work hours. Yet, it does have a certain rustic charm—if rustic charm means looking like it was burgled by Marie Kondo. A plus for not a single cable in sight, though I'm starting to suspect it's because electricity hasn't been discovered in this part of the house yet.
