No. 688 - The Woody Time-Capsule

Oh look, it's the desk that asked to be taken out of the 1970s but couldn't let go of the wood paneling. With all the plant life around, I'd say it's halfway to becoming a forgotten piece in Jumanji. Plus, what's with the matching frames? Did the desk come with a 'pretentious gallery wall starter kit'? The chair does give a 'golden throne' vibe though, so at least there's one spot where you can feel like royalty while paying bills. It's almost neat enough to eat off but... oh wait, I see the desk is doing its best 'spice rack' cosplay with those little drawers. Overall, it tries so hard to be minimalist chic that it almost loops back to cluttered – with decor instead of actual work.
